"Listen, are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life?"
(Mary Oliver)
Lately, I have been setting aside a few moments every Sunday night and try to focus on my plans and objectives for the week about to start. I don't want to to just through the motions, I want to see, feel, and enjoy everything. Whether I'm doing something important or just running a simple errand, I intend to live!
I would like to share this very special poem I read some time ago. May your week start with a happy song and may you always remember to breathe deeply:
May catch a dream from you.
You never know when a little word
Or something you may do
May open up the windows
Of a mind that seeks the light-
The way you live may not matter at all,
But you never know -- it might.
And just in case it could be
That another's life, through you,
Might possibly change for the better
With a broader and brighter view,
It seems it might be worth a try
At pointing the way to the right -
Of course, it may not matter at all,
But then again -- it might..."
