Roses

You love the roses-so do I. I wish
The sky would rain down roses, as they rain
From off the shaken bush.  Why will it not?
Then all the valley would be pink and white
And soft to tread on.  They would fall as light
As feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be
Like sleeping and like waking, all at once!

  1. Hi Elina
The rose is my favourite flower too... I like the shape of them and their delicate colours. I love to wear rose oil and perfumes. This photo and poem are beautiful.

  3. Sorry to have been away for so long Alina. For some reason I was unable to access Purple Caravan (but could access Me and My Window)! Anyway I did some fiddling with toolbar etc and up you pop!

I love this poem and the photo is beautiful. I adore old-fashioned roses and white and pink are my absolute favourites.

Albert Schweitzer said "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit" I thank you all!
