Waiting for "IT"

"Isn't funny that at Christmas something in you gets so lonely for...I don't know what exactly... but it's something you don't mind so much not having at other times"   Kate L Bosher

Decorations are up, I finally finished the tree, plans for a small, intimate gathering are made, all presents are wrapped, Christmas music resound through the house, and yet... I can't quite feel "it"!

It saddens me to think I've lost my Christmas spirit, so for now I'll  hope it's just misplaced...

  2. Merry Christmas dear Alina...know that you are not alone in your feelings - I long for Christmases of years gone by, when life seemed so much simpler and carefree...much has changed in my world since those times x

  3. Dearest Alina,
I am so very sure that on Christmas day, when you and your beloveds are gathered near, the "it" factor will once again fill your entire being. So many find themselves in the throws of bleakness this time of year ... I too have felt this way. But once your home resounds with peals of laughter, is filled with scintillating conversation, and everyone is enjoying the scrumptious cuisine .... all will be well!

Wishing you and yours a very blessed and blissful Christmas! May your hearts and home be filled with much peace ...

  4. Hi Alina..hugs..wishing you the magic within. Wonderful ...everthying sounds lovely! Go with the flow of your feelings..dont worry if you have it or lost it..or if it will show up. You ..are what IS the magic!

I find that i feel whatever feels natural to me..sometimes it doesnt always relfect the mainstream....or on the same page...sometimes it does.....but i just try to find my own magic..when i feel called within...in my own way..and as simple as that!

Unconditional spirit..it shows up when my heart feels like dancing..and until then..all is well!

Hugs..it has been awesome getting to know you and I am happy to have met a kindred soul like you this year! Thanks for all the light and sparkles you have brought to my world and for your bloggy-friendship!

Hugs and much love to you and wishing you a new year filled wiht Alina-esque Sparkles!!

  7. Dearest Alina,
It's quite normal to misplace "it" from time to time. I have experienced lack of Christmas spirit in the past but have found it just in time. May you be surrounded by all that is blissful, merry, and most delightful this Christmas. Most of all, may the Christmas spirit tap you on the shoulder and embrace you with love and light!
    Hugs,
    Sandra

Albert Schweitzer said "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit" I thank you all!
