A sentimental journey

This afternoon was the colour of water falling through sunlight...

My daughter's wedding gown is here, in her old bedroom, it hangs from a hook, so white, so new, so special.
A human heart is a funny thing. It can sing and it can cry all at the same time...

  1. Oh my gosh! I don't have a daughter, but I can just imagine how special that is. Smiles and tears at the same time, for sure!!! I can't wait to see the wedding pictures! All the best wishes for a totally perfect, beautiful day! xoxo Paulette

  2. Thank you Katy, thank you Paulette, it's always so wonderful to hear from you! XO

  3. Alina,
You must smile every time you look at your daughter's wedding dress. Nel's wedding was last weekend, and it was a glorious day for us all. I know what you mean about our hearts crying and singing at the same time. I love this picture on here. She reminds me of me when I was younger.

  4. So true & how beautiful is the thought of your baby girls wedding dress hanging in her bedroom. I want to cry too!!!
    Hugs Sweet Girl,
