The calm after the storm

It is such a THRILL to see the sun shining this morning! I stumbled out of bed and ran to the window and there it was, Mr. Sun himself in all it's glory.

Not only are we enjoying abundant sunshine but the temperatures will be much warmer. I should really stay home and continue to clean and tidy up our still damp basement, but I hear the trees calling my name: "Come! they whisper, Play a while!" so, what choice do I have? I must rush and do as they say. I'm out the door and I'm singing!

"Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right..."

  5. I've been filling my lungs with the air. It smells like parsley somehow. I love this illustration. It feels like the day - like nature wants to have us come over again instead of stay away. Happy sunny day!

    Love, Katy

Albert Schweitzer said "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit" I thank you all!
