"The unreal is more powerful than the real,
because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it,
because it's only tangible ideas, concepts, beliefs,
fantasies that last.
Stone crumbles, wood rots, people, well, they die.
But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend,
they can go on and on..."

Interesting, and beautiful picture - fits the quote perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true isn't it ~ our imagination can be so much bigger then the truth, the reality. But sometimes we luck out and find ourselves in situations, with people, doing things, that are even better then we imagined, hoped for, dreamed.
ReplyDeleteDreams, imaginations, thoughts...such powerful things!
Have a most wonderful day Alina!

You always choose the perfect picture to illustrate your posts Alina - she is lovely, like a pre-Raphaelite maiden. These sentiments are so true - the imagination is a powerful tool.

What a quote! Even more powerful is the dream or thought brought into reality? Why are we so afraid to do that? Sometimes, though, it's a relief to realize that the powerfully hurtful thought that can wreak so much havoc in our lives is not reality. It's lovely when that kind of "reality" triumphs, don't you think? Anyway, I love the thought of this quote.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're surviving those allergies. My heart just goes out to you and I've been thinking of you!

15 years ago, I trained as a hypnotherapist. Our tutor told us " Imagination is more powerful than logic" and I have certainly found that to be true.
ReplyDeleteAlina what a beautiful quote. I do hope you get to feeling better soon. My allergies kick in the Fall. Miserable...I know what you mean by cranky!
