Trouble in Paradise

I was hoping the Allergy Monster would forget about me this year. I tiptoed around the house and spoke softly trusting IT would not find me. We've been playing hide and go seek for a while but I was no match. I've been caught!

I lay in misery with teary eyes, a swollen red nose, feeling VERY cranky. Based on past experiences, and regardless of all the medication I take, this will probably go on till the beginning of May when all of the sudden I will get up one morning and like magic, the Monster will be gone.

Blue skies, blooming trees, tulips and daffodils everywhere...sigh...

  1. Hmm, very interesting. I have a dust allergy, which only flares up in WInter. My freind has hay fever, but saw huge improvement when she started eating honey made by bees who browsed the plants and flowers where she lives.

  3. Oh, how I hear you. This wretched cold that I have now started with the blooming of the hyacinths and keep getting worse - not better. I am VERY suspicious! Misery likes company, no? So, let's keep each other company. I'll think of you and know that I'm not alone and vice versa.

Wishing you well, too! (We have life to live!!!)

  10. Oh Alina I feel for you. I get mild allergy from tree pollen which since eating locally produced honey is much improved. Worth a try!

Albert Schweitzer said "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit" I thank you all!
