Tender drops of rain
sliding down the window pane,
dancing on the flowers,
playing hide and go seek on the grass.
Glistening drops of rain
priceless jewels falling softly on the trees.
Diamonds scattered all over the garden
their magic spread for all to see.
It's tea time, and the ants and the fairies
seek shelter under the lilac bush,
as they lift their tiny cups, I stand still and listen to the rain...

Hi Alina,
ReplyDeleteI wish it was raining here. We have had a weird heatwave in the UK at the moment and it is way too hot. It is not even Summer yet!
I love your poem and I can imagine the little fairies sitting under the flowers, sheltering from the rain and drinking tea!:)
The new look to your blog is wonderful. I especially like the vintage butterfly header.
I hope you are well, dear friend.
Hugs.xx:)
