Giving Thanks

We usually go through our days wishing, striving, pushing for more. There's nothing wrong with that as long as that drive doesn't prevent us  from enjoying the view, from recognizing when we can't push anymore, from stopping here and there to enjoy all we have done.

On this Thanksgiving Day I am blessed to have a very long list of things for which to be thankful. My husband, my children, my family, my friends, my dear, sweet Abby, my home, my freedom, my health and so much more.

In addition to being Thanksgiving Day it's also my 32nd wedding anniversary. One of the biggest things for which to be thankful!

Just wanted to take a moment and wish each and everyone a beautiful day and magical season.

  1. happy thanksgiving..... and happy anniversary. xxx

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Abby and family.

  3. Very wise advice. It's easy to get on the "treadmill" and forget to enjoy what's good.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely family, which includes Abby of course.

Congratulations on your 32nd wedding anniversary! xx

  4. Yay Alina..Congrats!! how wonderful...cheers!! Wishing you a beautiful magical season...hugs and blessings! Thankyou for this beautiful post!

    HUgs and sparkles..a friend always

  5. 32 years - congratulations!! How wonderful to be able to share so many years of love and memories. Thank you for being you! Always a pleasure to visit your beautiful blog.

  6. I'm a little late Alina, but I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a magical anniversary - 32 years is certainly worth celebrating xxx

  7. How wonderful to be married 32 years. I am married 29 years, and I know how meaningful it is to have someone like that in your life to "go over" the memories with from time to time. These are the years for rocking-chair-evenings; well for us, anyway. It is what we laughed, sweetly about, many, many years ago as we looked into the future. And, what, dear, Alina, do we look sweetly into the future to see these days? Much joy to you and your husband on your journey. Peace. Brianne

  8. How special it is to be married for 32 years. We had our 31st this year. I hope your Christmas season is filled with peace and love.

Albert Schweitzer said "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit" I thank you all!
