Flooded

It's been a crazy weekend. Spent amidst buckets, wet towels, noisy wet vacuums. We got enough water in our basement to create minor waves and ripples.  I confess I did imagine I was Alice in the pool of tears so I made sure I carried a thimble in my pocket...

In any case, here I am, my fingers are a bit wrinkly but other than that, I'm okay. All I can say is one thing:

I am ready for Spring!!!!

  7. Thank you, everyone! We finally have a beautiful sunny day today, the water is gone and the buckets and thimble are put away :0) This storm has been quite extraordinary and affected so many people. We fared fairly well compared to others. Thank you again for being there. On with the show! xxxx

Albert Schweitzer said "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit" I thank you all!
