Fleeting moments

We live for fleeting moments, instants, and fragments of time.
We are but the echo of few special minutes and seconds that seem to get lost within the maze of ordinary days.
But those minutes are not lost, they are simply put away or maybe they're forgotten atop a dusty shelf.

Then comes a certain day bathed with light and beauty and we stand breathless, poised, for just one fleeting moment...

  1. And thankfully we are sometimes lucky enough to have a photo of that single moment to remind us of how good it was...

  4. So inspiring Alina ... all those fleeting moments that make up a life, and that we can never get back ... but then to be given the precious gift of memory allowing us to recall those moments at will. How lucky we are!

  7. Beautiful words, as always. Isn't it funny how a certain smell or a song on the radio can trigger long ago memories that come flooding back as though it were yesterday. Hope your day is filled with such memory-making moments x

  8. 'We live for fleeting moments, instants, and fragments of time.' I love garden accents like this sculpture. Beautifully written and reminds me of the serendipity that hopefully comes on most days through our relationships and in nature.

Albert Schweitzer said "In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit" I thank you all!
